i am a major fan of Alternative rock and New rock music
my fav bands are The Muse Matchbox 20 Linkin Park Evanescence
the Muse rules because the music is well played. they have won some 25-30 awards in the last 8 yrs 5 this year they r crazy good in the uk. I would like to see you TRY to sing Supermassive Black Hole in the same voice. Their singer is gifted with a voice like no other that makes an Alternative song almost beautiful (almost its rock duh)
Matchbox 20 is another of my favs because they play harder alternative rock just like linkin park they both have really popular songs out right now How farwe'ev com from Matchbox 20 and Bleed it out and What I've done from Linkin Park
Some1 might think this is mainstream, but even if it was it would be GREAT mainstream.
Evanescence plays onto a softer whispery side in portions of a lot of their songs in the album Fallen its awesome check out Bring me to life and Going Under if you only look at a few
Recently you guys have been getting me into Wicked stuff so i bought Defying Gravity What is this feeling and Popular i like What is this feeling more because of its pace and how whats her face and whats her face sing it (idk their names)
I HATE country and anything with the remotest relation to (i also hate rap but thats irrelevant)
Country is a bunch of old people with guitars trying to pretend to sing
i realize rascal flatts is popular because of its rock connection, but i think people trying to sing poorly added to loud music is a REALLY bad combo
i dislike rap because of its lack of originality it doesn't even matter what you say no1 can uderstand anyway seriously tell me one rap song you can understand all of the lyrics to
alternative rock on the other hand, makes the words spring to life but you can still understand most of them

yah. u go glen coco! (mean girls,jr, for your fyi!) first of all, evanescence isn't in the least bit "whispery and soft"! second, not all country singers are old, third, lots of them can sing! but i do love alternative rock a lot!!!!

I personally have no opinion on the whole country thing, and ive never heard a song by evanescence. i loved the nurse story!! its pretty awesome. But i must ask... are the killer bobby pins possibly self-locking?

wow.amandi.get a pedicure or something...but anyway, yeah, we were playing this game with guessing the word that rymes with something he said and he said "bus" nobody could get it... it was "phosphrus"!! weird, huh? you had to be there.
thanks. im okay now. i just sorta bumped my head really hard on a cabinet because i was kneeling down getting a soda out of the mini fridge and my sis opened the cabinet above me and didnt close it and i sorta smashed my head in to it. ouch. i played that game in the car for 4 hours with the same word. i said it rhymed with orange. but i really didnt have a word. haha good times...
